Paul Vanden Boeynants: Grandfather of the Belgian Fascist Underground, accused in ‘Pink Ballets’, X-dossiers and more
There may have never been a more controversial and shady Belgian politician than Paul Vanden Boeynants. A two time Prime Minister and Roman Catholic, he has been accused of things as tax evasion, drug trafficking, to fomenting a fascist underground and plotting to destabilize Belgium and even child abuse and murder. All but the tax evasion charges ever brought VdB to trial.
“Baron Noir” Benoît de Bonvoisin: Accused of sadistic child abuse and murder, linked to fascist underground terrorism
Le Baron Noir (the Black Baron) is a very suiting name for a Belgian man of nobility that funded, supported and fomented a fascist underground, which was involved in all kinds of suspicious and criminal activities during the Cold War. It is even more fitting for a Belgian man of nobility that has been directly accused of the abuse and in one case of murder of children by no less than five victim-witnesses. That man is Benoit de Bonvoisin.
The Lippens Brothers: An Odious duo?
Two brothers of the Lippens family have been accused of child abuse from several sources. Will these accusations ever be thoroughly investigated is yet to be determined.
The Unsolved Murder of Katrien De Cuyper
Did X1 witness, compelled to murder, Katrien De Cuyper at Castle Kattenhof in 1991? We won't know for sure unless the investigation is reopened with the knowledge of X1's testimony is still credible even though minor details have differed. With all the connections between the people accused by X1 are put into view, it enhances the case rather than discredit it.
The Unsolved Murder of Carine Dellaert
X1 apparently witnessed Carine "Clo" Dellaert's murder, at which she saw similar people involved in murders of other girls. The life of Carine is briefly examined and X1's testimony is determined to have been credible.
Tony Van Den Bogaert: The pimp
"No one will believe you Regina [Louf/X1]. And those who do will be destroyed. I am protected by powerful people. (Antoine “Tony” Van Den Bogaert, as quoted in Regina Louf’s autobiography)
Jean-Michel Nihoul: A brief biography
"I met Nihoul in a restaurant in Brussels. 'I am the Monster of Belgium,' he roared at me by way of greeting. He is confident he will never come to trial and that the evidence against him will never be heard by any jury. During the course of our meal he, apparently playfully, grabbed me, tickling, and finally pulled me over on to him in the restaurant booth until I had to appeal to my colleagues for rescue." (May 5, 2002, Olenka Frenkiel for The Guardian, 'Belgium's silent heart of darkness')
THE DOLO: one suspicious nightclub
"If you want to keep a little bit informed, then go to the Philippe Baucq street no. 140, to the Dolo. You might learn something about the champignoniere..." (PV 33797, April 27, 1987, quote from an anonymous informant to the Etterbeek police, during the investigation into the murder of Christine Van Hees in 1984.)
